Drag'n Wash Endings: Three Routes, Why One Run Is Never Enough

Remember two numbers: three endings, roughly 90 minutes each. Seeing all of them means at least two full runs and four and a half hours or more. The thing that actually wastes your time is not the length — it is the save file. Continue a completed save and the game pushes you into the credits, with no way back to the branch point. Saving a separate slot before the final shift is the most useful sentence on this page.

What the developer confirmed, and what players filled in

Read that table literally: count, length and the existence of routes are safe to quote. Names and exact choices are not. Several sites have given the endings confident-sounding names; none of them cite a primary source, so do not treat them as official.

The two confirmed route types

A single-dragon route exists for each of the three. You serve the same customer across the run, familiarity accumulates, and interactions open up stage by stage. The store description frames it as customers growing comfortable enough with your care to make further requests.

The Conrad and Ryan pairing route sets two customers up with each other. Player comments describe Conrad getting together with Ryan, and the developer’s own patch notes name Conrad repeatedly (including a soft-lock fix tied to a level 8 interaction), so the name itself is official.

For the third route, itch.io players mention the credits behaviour and that some interactions only appear once familiarity is high, but nothing primary explains its trigger. This page will not adopt a third-party route name.

Why one playthrough can never show everything

Two reasons stack. The first is time: one route is 90 minutes, so three routes start at four and a half hours before replays. The second is that progress is bound to one specific dragon — familiarity accumulates per customer, so switching between all three spreads the progress thin and can leave you without a complete route at all.

The right approach is not “wash all three and see what happens”. It is “pick one this run and finish it”.

Four habits for replaying

Save a separate slot before the final shift. Then you can return to just before the branch instead of starting over.

Lock onto one dragon per run. Switching dilutes familiarity.

Do not continue on a completed save. Use an earlier slot if you want to keep working.

Use the “Unstick Kobold” button when stuck, but not during the credits. Players report it soft-locks there, so it is safer to skip it.

One time-saver worth knowing: a perfect wash is not a prerequisite for route progress. Interactions and familiarity are what move the story, so a missed patch will not wreck your run.

The official names of the three endings, the third route’s trigger, whether any route requires a prior completion, and how many scenes each route contains are all unpublished. This page will not invent names for them.
