How Long Is Drag'n Wash? 90 Minutes a Route, Two Hours in Practice

Official numbers say about 90 minutes per ending across three endings. What that means for one route, and what it means if you want all three.

One route takes about an hour and a half. All three endings take at least two runs, so four and a half hours or more. That is the official maths: roughly 90 minutes per ending, three endings. Player reports cluster under two hours per route, and the most common complaint in reviews is that there is not much of it. Those two statements are not in conflict — they describe the same game from different angles.

Why “90 minutes” and “two hours” both come from the same game

The 90 minutes is the developer’s stated figure for a route played at a normal pace. Players run longer for three reasons: they read more slowly than the average; they insist on washing every dragon to near-perfect cleanliness; or they get stuck or restarted — a character wedged in the scene, or a completed save that dumps them into the credits when they wanted to keep working.

It also runs shorter than that. Some players finish a route in the low thirties because they push the key interactions and skip perfectionism. So the honest answer to “how long is it” is “how are you planning to play it?” Decide whether you are here for the story or for the cleaning before you budget the time.

How much content is actually in it

Three male dragons, confirmed officially. Player reports put the level count around 14 shifts — an itch.io bug report references #4, #13 and #14, and the official patch notes mention level 8 and level 14. Add three endings and one pairing route for Conrad and Ryan, and that is the whole thing.

In other words, this is not an endless cleaning sim. It is a short narrative with a washing loop attached, and it ends. Budget for it like a short visual novel and your expectations will hold up. How the endings split directly affects whether you need a second run.

Buy now, wait for updates, or wait for a sale

Price: checked 15 September 2026, Steam’s standard price is $14.99 with a −10% launch discount to $13.49, and itch.io starts at $15. The discount will end, so do not treat it as the normal price.

Developer intent: on and around 15 September the developer said development plans would be announced “soon”, without content detail, so there is no way to judge how much more game is coming.

Player demand: the loudest requests in reviews are an endless mode, more dragons, and more repeatable content. None of those have been answered yet.

Put together: if you want a complete, character-driven short experience right now, buying costs you nothing but the price; if you need ten-plus hours of content, waiting for the roadmap is the better trade.
